Party in the Park Postponed for 2026 BUT set to return for 2027

Ansley Parish Council would like to let residents know that we will not be going ahead with the Party/Picnic in the Park for 2026. Unfortunately, we do not have enough volunteers available to organise it and the timing clashes with several other local and key national events. Instead we are hoping to organise a comeback event in Summer 2027. To make this possible, we will need support from local residents - to help plan the event, to assist on the day and with fundraising.

We are very sorry for any disappointment this may cause, but given the circumstances, postponing is the only realistic option at present. Thank you for your understand and we look forward to working with the community to bring the event back in 2027.

As tribute to our dear friend, colleague and Party in the Park committee chair - Cllr Heather Norgrove, Ansley Parish Council created ***The Heather Norgrove Community Spirit Cup***

The 2025 title was presented to Lindsay Kearns at Party in the Park. This special award is dedicated to recognising an individual that has made outstanding contributions to our community over the past 12 month. Whether through volunteer work, advocacy, innovation, or community initiatives, this award honours a local resident who has gone above and beyond to make a difference to Ansley and positively impacting the lives of others in the process. Further details to follow, for when we will be accepting new nominations for this award.
