A special award recognising an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the Ansley Parish community over the past 12 months.
Closing date: Monday 6th July 2026
Nominee's Announced: Wednesday 8th July 2026
Winner Presentation: Friday 17th July 2026
Live in the Parish
The nominee must live in either Ansley Village, Ansley Common, Birchley Heath or Church End.
Self nominations are not permitted.
Active in the Parish
The nominee must have an active part in village life and the local community.
Annual Award
As this is an annual award process. The nominee's application must cover the 12 month period June to June per year.

About The Award

The Heather Norgrove Community Spirit Cup is dedicated in memory of former Ansley Parish Council Chairman, Cllr Heather Norgrove.
Heather showed exceptional dedication, leadership and service to the parish. This award continues her legacy by celebrating local residents who go above and beyond to make a positive difference.
The cup, created in 2025 is presented annually by Heather's husband, Cllr Adrian Norgrove and his family at an annual award presentation.

2025 Winner
The first ever winner of The Heather Norgrove Community Spirit Cup was Lindsay Kearns.
For 2025, Lindsay worked tirelessly at Hood Lane Farm organising over 87 community events and was the coordinator of Party in the Park that year.
Lindsay is always ready to help out with anything going in Ansley. The word 'no' is never on her mind.
